Hi kids,

We named our beta fish "Ike" because Hurricane Ike almost interferred with the Douglas Cup golf tournament.

Ike is doing well. He is white, like the winning team, with just a little blue on his nose, in keeping with our worthy opponents. He is eating well, but not as much as I thought he would. I don't think he wants to get fat. I change his water every other day. If you don't have special drops to treat his water, use distilled water, or sit new water in a container and don't transfer the fish until the next day. That will allow the chlorine to evaporate. Don't forget your fish is a boy when you name him. I'm anxiously waiting to her all about your fish. If you see us at the club, don't forget to come over and tell us about him.
